Shift and Schedule
- Position: ICU RN, 2E SICU Unit
- Schedule: Full-time shifts (specific days and hours to be discussed)
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts or weekends as needed
Requirements and Skills
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
- Experience in critical care nursing, specifically in an ICU or Surgical ICU (SICU) setting
- Proficiency in patient assessment, monitoring, and intervention for critically ill patients
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly to emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage complex medical equipment and technology commonly used in ICU care
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and response to treatments
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and recovery processes
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold infection control standards
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in Wisconsin
- Proven ICU or SICU nursing experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $63.00 to $74.00, with weekly pay.
