Requirements & Skills

• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
• Proven experience in inpatient clinical nutrition and dietetics
• Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy principles
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nutrition care plans for hospitalized patients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and interdisciplinary team interactions
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation standards
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for inpatient populations
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on diagnoses and patient needs
• Monitor patient progress and adjust nutritional plans accordingly
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current RD or RDN license in good standing
• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Completion of an accredited dietetic internship or equivalent supervised practice program
• Experience working in inpatient healthcare settings preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive hourly rate of $57.00 - $67.00
