Compensation
Hourly Rate: $75.00 - $89.00

Requirements & Skills
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent preferred
- Proficient knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and invasive diagnostic and therapeutic techniques
- Strong technical skills in operating catheterization lab equipment and imaging technologies
- Ability to assist physicians during complex cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and other interventional procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to function effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented mindset ensuring patient safety and adherence to procedural protocols
- Familiarity with sterile techniques and infection control standards in a cath lab environment
- Capacity to respond quickly and efficiently in emergency situations
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain catheterization lab equipment and supplies for scheduled procedures
- Assist cardiologists and other healthcare professionals during invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging and monitoring equipment, including fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitors
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and patient data
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, radiation safety standards, and infection control guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance cath lab operations and patient outcomes
- Provide patient education and support as needed before, during, and after procedures
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher in cardiovascular technology, nursing, or related healthcare field
- Certification as RCIS or an equivalent credential preferred but not mandatory
- Previous experience working in a cardiovascular catheterization laboratory or similar clinical environment highly desirable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to handle complex clinical scenarios
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams and adapt to changing clinical demands
