Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist – Therapy/Rehabilitation in Walla Walla, WA

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team through Quick2Hire staffing agency. Shift & Schedule

  • Day Shift
  • 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in acute care or adult rehabilitation facilities
  • Washington State Occupational Therapy License (WA LIC) required
  • Proficiency with charting systems, Epic preferred
  • Strong manual therapy skills, including Edema Massage and Kinesiotaping
  • Experience with prosthetics and orthotics, including functional splints, orthoplast, and static splints
  • Ability to work independently without travel requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for patients in acute and rehabilitation settings
  • Utilize specialized skills including edema massage and kinesiotaping to enhance patient recovery and mobility
  • Fabricate and apply prosthetic and orthotic devices such as functional splints, orthoplast, and static splints
  • Document patient progress accurately and efficiently using preferred charting systems like Epic
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and adaptive techniques

Qualifications

  • Active Washington State Occupational Therapy license
  • At least 1 year of occupational therapy experience, ideally in acute or adult rehabilitation settings
  • Strong manual therapy capabilities including edema massage and kinesiotaping
  • Experienced in prosthetics and orthotics applications including functional, orthoplast, and static splints
  • Familiarity with electronic health records, preferably Epic
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $50.00 to $59.00
