Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist – Therapy/Rehabilitation
We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Therapy/Rehabilitation team in Walla Walla, WA. Shift & Schedule
- Day Shift: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5 days, 8 hours each)
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy within acute care and adult rehabilitation facility settings
- Demonstrated proficiency in charting systems, preferably Epic
- Current Washington State Occupational Therapist License (WA LIC)
- Skilled in edema massage and kinesiotaping techniques (required)
- Experienced in fabrication and application of prosthetics and orthotics, including functional splints, orthoplast, and static splints (required)
- No travel experience required
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy treatments tailored to patients’ individual needs
- Provide edema massage and kinesiotaping as therapeutic modalities to improve patient outcomes
- Fabricate and apply functional, static, and orthoplast splints to support rehabilitation goals
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic or preferred electronic charting systems
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic practices and assistive techniques to promote independence
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and maintain current licensure and certifications
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Washington
- Strong clinical skills in both acute care and adult rehabilitation settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care
Compensation and Benefits
